10.00 (excellent) This is something special. Fabulous and mysterious atmosphere does not leave you the entire movie (I especially liked the scene in the train runs through the sea). Character design and environment worked out perfectly.
The ending leaves a sad feeling, but also an opportunity for guessing
I saw him about ten times and I'm ready to review once more

10.00 (excellent) Maybe I have to give 10 for all Ghibli's anime))) I like Howl and his changing for Sofi (real love exist!). Other characters are cute too except Witch (but even she has a special charm). Anime has a happy ending which is also important

Trinity Blood

9.75 (excellent) I generally like stories that are at least loosely be called science fiction. Score that I put refers to the novels, manga and anime both. Even so the anime could have been much better if the characters were revealed, and the plot did not change
My advice - read the novels. There are many interesting moments and details in them

xxxHOLiC

9.75 (excellent) For me XXXholic is like a door into the mysterious world of Japanese folklore. In addition, each series of the anime is more than enlightening and filled with psychological overtones (I even recognized myself at couple of buyers, hope I'v become better now). Story is full of unexpected twists and characters are revealed entirely new side. The ending can be interpreted in different ways, but I quite satisfied with it.

9.50 (excellent) Victorian London + mystic + secrets + men for every taste + action + mesmerizing music = secret of success
The first season was better (imho), but new personages were also enough interesting. Now I have a great hope by manga's ending - wanna know who killed Ciel's parents and what will happend with Seba and Ciel after termination of the contract
P.S. manga always is better, he-he

Fullmetal Alchemist

9.50 (excellent) I like the story, character development and relationships, the whole psychological and philosophy background (homunculus, Philosophical rock, soul and body, equivalent exchange, the collective mind and the unconscious, etc.). In addition, humor is also not bad. But in the end the whole story has slipped into the mass brawl, and most of the questions did not get answers

9.25 (very good) I liked it so cozy and warm atmosphere of the relations of heroes. In the anime, you'll see that friendship does not have to go through treachery and deception. I was never able to figure out who the main character in the story, as the fate of each character is important. And what events are taking place against a background of art school I more than pleased.
By the way, Morita Shinobu is very close to my ideal - a cheerful, sociable, handsome, talented and slightly crazy))

9.25 (very good) Now I describe my attitude to the manga, not anime (I saw the preview and the desire to watch the OVA I did not have) - the first plus for the fact that it's the first manga in my life, the second - for the style of drawing, the third - for the great number of different characters, the fourth - for a complex and bold story, and a fifth, a bonus - for Kira)

9.25 (very good) My rating is definitely subjective, just my first love was a photographer ... haha. Despite a certain uniformity of the series, the whole plot is pretty exciting. Relationships between Saiga and Kagura are nothing but example of platonic love (one kiss does not count). I've put up with what is happening in the end of the anime, and suddenly this turn of events. So the final was a surprise for me at least.
Among my friends was fixed the phrase "come Suitengu" - ie "the end of everything" :D

9.00 (very good) Oww, it has extremely many characters. And how I already understand every person has a secret and own line but somehow connects with others. The existence of a of the mystical personage is good for me. That intriquids! I also like unusually opening song

NANA

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Sep 24, 2011

9.00 (very good) My first impression - a lot of music, cigarettes and sex. But it turned out that everything is much harder and deeper - the story of choosing their own life path. Both the heroine with the name and the apartment for two - but there their similarity ends. And the lifestyle and aspirations they have are very different - one wants to be just herself and deserve love, despite the circumstances, and the other - wants to be loved, avoiding all the circumstances
And the difficulties will be in each of the characters and I have not once had to worry about them (maybe I'm just too empathic)

Tales From Earthsea

9.00 (very good) I found a Studio Ghibli film, which I liked less than others - and the matter is not history as such and not in the artistic embodiment. I'm just familiar with the original, I love these stories - and I'm a little sad that the creators removed so much attention from the Hawk (the main character in the books) to the Prince. Character Tenar almost not revealed and untouched topic search itself, the importance of names, the history of the dragon nation, the differences between male and female magic. In general, the story could be deeper and more interesting

Death Note

Last Updated: Sep 30, 2011

9.00 (very good) This story can be distinguished from the rest because the detectives of the anime are rare (even mystical).
The plot twisted and complex anime, and you need to watch closely and intensely for what's happening on the screen. At first I could not decide on whose side I'm of two characters. A further example for Yagami it became clear how much power corrupts people.
But even so, I believe that the death of one character in the middle of the show was unnecessary - that's why the ending of the movie satisfied me more than the anime ending

Great Teacher Onizuka

9.00 (very good) My thoughts after the first series - "there will be a lot of Ichi, the fan-service and vulgar humor." Yes, I had no idea then that this anime would be my favorite comedy. The very situation that the bully's dream of becoming a teacher has come true is already fun. I at first time of my life had to press pause, just to stop laughing. On the other hand in the anime also raises serious issues - the cruelty, jealousy, and even crime among students. So called "Teacher" is simply silly comedy, it would not be right

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

9.00 (very good) This is a very sweet, emotional, and at the same time fascinating story. Excellent backgrounds by Makoto Shinkai and simple graphics of characters (but it does not upset me, because their movements were very well of course). I'll be honest - my heart sank a pair of points (this is a sign of how good anime for me). Given that the anime is based on the story - I love how delicate it is marked in the anime

Five Centimeters Per Second

9.00 (very good) Makoto Shinkai ... this is island in the sea of anime. No matter what topic he affects - it is always impressive works. This is the first anime what I was willing to divide and admire each shot. I enjoy by visual side so much that was a bit inattentive about story. It's simple enough but interesting the same. I can understand every personage because I was myself at their shoes. And final was clear and sad - we can't stop the time of our life even for the real feeling like can't stop the flying of sakura petals.

The Place Promised in Our Early Days

9.00 (very good) An unusual view of the existence of parallel worlds (from that very parallel world). The strength of feelings and promises they do not differ in truth. And even children's dreams can be fateful. In addition to stories graphic of course makes me happy. I am especially impressed by the dream world and the tower (it is due to thrill and sometimes even fear)

8.75 (very good) I saw only the first season, I really like main character and his "dual personality")) At first I was pretty hard to understand the course of events because of obscure terminology, I figured outin the process. But I was disappointed how the story ended for the majority of characters

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

Last Updated: Sep 28, 2011

8.75 (very good) Maybe it's the largest cross-overing anime in the world (or clamp like to advertise all of their films))). As always, it is unrealistic complicated story with many different characters and each has their own skeletons in the closet. The ending leaves room for guessing, but it sheds light on the identity of Watanuki.

Cowboy Bebop

Last Updated: Sep 29, 2011

8.75 (very good) This could be the usual story, if events do not occur in the distant future, a team of "headhunters" did not include a particular persons - the one who hides the past; who have forgotten her past; young genius who looks like a child and behaves like funny animal, well, in conclusion just one sturdy outside and the kindly inside
Something tells me that the creation of fighting scenes in Cowboy and Samurai Champloo involved the same person because they look great
PS I liked the movie more than the anime (but they are both very good)

8.50 (very good) I like the first version for the atmosphere and the OST, second for its proximity to the manga style of drawing and story. But this is the main disadvantage of Ultimate - the basis is good, the characters are excellent, but the ending ... In other words - I'm disappointed

Samurai Champloo

Seen: completely; Own: partially;

Last Updated: Sep 28, 2011

8.50 (very good) I could not leave indifferent mix of historical Japan and modern musical themes (Champloo there is in the title is not in vain). In general, all three main characters could easily be present in our time. At the same time in nature, they differ considerably as Jin - a serious, sober, restrained in emotion; Mugen - just an explosive mix of emotions. But each of them is good in their own way (no surprise that Fuu undecided)
Although the picture fairly simplistic, but the fighting scenes are delivered with incredible accuracy (as if the animators were counted movements of heroes by schemes and formulas).
It's pity that just when the characters became real friends they parted ways
P.S. My favorite series about a blind girl with a samisen

8.50 (very good) Must I tell that I am a fan of steampunk? Ok - this is just the lovely story. The mix of gothic atmosphere, unusual characters disign and the happening realy crush me up. Althought this is a old anime I prefer to name it the classic - it deserves a viewing

8.25 (good) Well, it's very unusual (for me) anime - among others, that I saw, I would characterize it as "art house" or "surreal." There are a lot of banter and parody of other genres, and character traits of the characters are sharp and exaggerated. I did not find storyline in this anime (it was there?) - So if some person become crazy (died, flew into space, became a giant, married, etc.) already in the next episode everything will return to normal . This anime - comic sketches set on living in Japan, and even society as a whole.
True I began to understand humor only about the third season (or the humor has become easier, or my brain rebuilt) - those who live in Japan, probably easier to understand it
And yet, in the anime soundtracks just mad, but such sticky))

Paprika

Last Updated: Sep 28, 2011

8.25 (good) If I named SZS something nearly surreal then Paprika is absolutly surreal. This film is hard to understand those who are not familiar with the concepts of unconscious, symbolism, internal conflict, delirium, and so on. But even those who know will have difficult, as Kon-san using artistic means sometimes goes too far. His movies are beginning to remind painting by Dali, and you start to search for meaning wherever was no sense originally.
I think whom liked the movie cage like this anime too

P.S. I love the art of Salvador Dali)))

Lovely Complex

8.25 (good) This is one of my favs comedies. The main characters are so sweet and funny, it was interesting to follow the development of their relationship. There are many romantic moments in this anime. This small problem, as the difference in the growth could make the whole story))) But my opinion - the second person of low growth was already over

Haibane Renmei

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: Sep 28, 2011

8.25 (good) This is quite meditative story, because there is little action (but all important), focuses on the inner world of characters and their experiences. This is not surprising when the theme touched the transition from life to death, and vice versa. Place where the characters live to someone become a purgatory, for someone - home, and for others - a stage towards for something new. Everybody must make own choice
This story remind me so much Murakami's novel "Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World", read it if you are interesting

Paradise Kiss

Last Updated: Sep 29, 2011

8.25 (good) The first positive feature of this story - it is not sprawling. Secondly it tells about the life of novice designers (I love everything that concerns people of creative professions). Also I really liked the style of drawing, in which the movie made.
Maybe someone will upset the ending - but it's true that first love is most often with a touch of sadness

Elfen Lied

Last Updated: Sep 29, 2011

8.25 (good) The story is quite interesting, unusual, artistic decision regarding "hands". Split personality of the protagonist also attracting attention. But for me, there are too many bloody scenes in the anime (my eyes grew round on the first five minutes)
I would not able to estimate low the soundtrack - this is one of the best OST that I've heard. He is melodic and mysterious as an incantation, flowing like a stream and so sad. Singer's voice simply beyond praise. I also liked the opening and ending play up paintings of Gustav Klimt
